Name that tune (with link to video)

The video begins with the me under the car (passenger side)...then get under the hood to rev the engine so you can better hear the noise.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e45ZQy7OofI

History:

My car at one time had the usual coolant leak by the oil pan....had it pressure tested, and the guy couldn't pin point the leak...except to say that he thought it was behind the timing chain cover..maybe.

Before and after this test my car was losing a little coolant...not a ton. Enough you could see it drip while the car was running...but no huge puddles.

I postponed having the pump done because the guy at the shop guesstimated a ridiculous estimate.

A few months pass...car starts making more of a rattling sound in the water pump area....to my untrained ear sounds like bearings rattling around. Loud enough to hear in the cabin of the car.

A month passes...bearing rattling noise stops, and decide to take to to another shop because now it's dumping coolant fast....I fear something else is leaking...and that is confirmed when the new shop says "we aren't sure about your water pump, but your radiator is a sprinkler system. I turn down repairs (thought it was pump), and replace radiator and upper & lower rad hoses.

Now....the car hasn't leaked at all in the last week. I still smell a coolant smell..but not sure that's still residual from the rad job. Bearing rattling hasn't come back....but there is a whine from what seems like the same spot. So...is it possible the water pump has stopped leaking coolant....the bearings stopped rattling....but the pump is still whining??? Or is this something different all together??

Thanks in advance to those much more capable that I.

Edit: I should add the alternator was changed 2 years ago. No problem with charging system. Battery at 12.85, running at 14+

While I'm not sure yet if this is causing the noise, I think I have a bad Idler Pulley. Mine, upon removing the belt, sounds like the one in this video (not my car)

Replacing it today....I'll let ya know if this stopped my whining.
