When you first start a car all the oil has settled into the oil pan... You should give your car a few minutes to circulate the oil before you go redlining it... Wont help your radiator but it will help the longevity of the car in general.

The car was already warmed up somewhat if you look at the temperature gauge. I was thinking the same thing as you lol.

I read somewhere that it takes a car 10 to 30 secs to circulate all fluids where they need to be (oil, trans fluid, etc).

It's weird to see a Maxima start up and not hear the "VROOOOM," I hear every time I start mine.

You won't miss it after it's painted Green with Racing stripes.

Actually, you'll probably be the one running at that point.

Well I do remember the wonderful Rally Strip thread ... by the looks of the engine bay ... must be still paying around with what kind of primer to use ... The speckle look isn't working.

OP have you tried using clay bar on that spot on the rear panel as it is most likely stained into just the clear coat so it should come out.

I'm running gutted pre-cats, eBay test-pipe, 2.5" catback with a 15" resonator in the b-pipe that dumps out right in front of the passenger rear wheel.

Looks more like he forgot to shake the can and it just kind of sploooged everywhere.

And who cares about the mark? It's gettin' a paint job

Thank ya. Your exhaust note is very reminiscent of the way my 4AT sounded with headers/testpipe/2.5" catback.

That video honestly does not do the exhaust note justice. My camera is a POS...

I need to get a better camera with a better mic. It cracks me up driving around with this setup. I get more turned heads because people don't expect a four-door to sound like that.

I also need to get videos of that sombish shootin' flames for y'all.

What can I say? I started getting concerned and nervous when I saw a Maxima start up without making any sounds. I had to post something to reassure myself that everything would be alright...

I'm getting a detail before the month is out. I already ran the price by Scott, he says it's a go. They will clay bar max. I don't want to fuq it up you know.

Purchase automotive clay. Research its use with some How-to videos. Seriously, there's no magic. It doesn't require any mad detailing skills. There's no way to "fuq it up".

Why does your car go click click click?

Also, you opened that weird walk-thru with, "I'm gonna show you f*kers..."

Then I'll consider myself un-fuqed. Which is the first time I think I've ever said that.

Get a bag of shop rags, a bucket of soapy water, a bottle of Armor All and a free afternoon. Also, replace those rusty radiator brackets. They're only $5 a piece.

Personally, I enjoyed how you're all street-tough and full of cool, until you open the hood and squeal "Oh my Go-o-o-d!", like a little girl. It's funny.

My suggestion, go rub another one out on your car, and then you can consider it 'modded' and take the pinstripe off. Then, paint that thing green with black stripes.
