saggy H&R rears??? how bout a coil spring spacer ...

So I've got all my components and hardware ready for an illumina/h&r install and I was browsing the intrawebs (and doing my research on the .org!) and found these coil spring spacers from o'reilly.

http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1.oap?pt=N0631

So taking a trick from the 4x4 crowd, I'm looking for info and help on adding something like this to the rears in order to fix the sagging look of the H&R springs. Installing only the front springs and keeping the OEM rear springs would work as well (a la housecor) but I'm afraid I will lose some of the handling characteristics of the springs. These things are designed to work together, right?? I would prefer to have the car sit "level" (no rake) but will sacrifice a small amount of front rake for a more even fender gap all around. I'm sure I'm not a pioneer, although it is possible. But has anyone had success using a product such as this?? I'm thinking the 1/2" spacer would do the trick nicely but have no way of knowing if it would fit. Your expertise in this department would be much appreciated.

Also, if my search skills are so poor that I have missed this topic somewhere on the .org ... I apologize in advance. Thanks!

Yes, they are.
Are they designed to work with spacers?

I'd be inclined to just put in the front ones, and be done.

2) Save up, buy coilovers
3) Profit

Actually, stillen was just running a "tax" sale for 20% off and I could have got Tein SS for $1019. However, I want more of a "set it and forget it" type suspension (with the option to adjust dampening of course ) Also, I live in PA and do not want to have to worry about spraying them down and cleaning them. They are made of steel, correct??? Exposure to moisture and salt is sure to make them rust, unless you are constantly keeping up with them. So yes, I'm absolutely certain coilovers are awesome for handling and ride and drop, however, not for me. I did find a 6 gen thread about installing h&r's with a spring spacer or "seat" made of rubber, pretty ghetto but apparently it worked. Prolly not a route I will go though. I'm going to speak with a suspension shop to see if they can fabricate something for me.

im pretty sure eibach rears are higher than H&R so in theory this wouldnt help the cause

so to follow your suggestion u have it backwards, get H&R front and Eibach back that would help somewhat

OP get different springs, or do the H&R only front drop (housecor)
I have H&R all around, yet its not picture perfect its not all that horrible.
