maxima lights in a spec v?

Hey guys just was wondering if anyone could tell me, I just got new very blue light bulbs for my maxima, and was wondering if I pick up an 02 spec vq35 swap if my new light bulbs would just be able to switch over or would they not be comparable?

If you got the VQ35 swap then they will fit.

But only if they're 'Very blue', regular blue won't work, you need to swap the VQ30de-K in for regular blue

Wow this thread delivers.

Actual substance:

- Your bulbs are rice and probably worse output than Halogens... but they look "cool", don't worry.
- 02-03 Maximas have HIDs as standard equipment. D2R bulbs because they have reflector housings.
- 02-03 SE-R / Spec-Vs have Halogens as standard equipment. 9006 bulbs ... because they are Halogens.

If we tie in all of this with a sprinkle of common sense, you'll find that a D2R bulb is not the same as a 9006.

Next time, search a bit and don't expect to be spoonfed.

Yeah, and seeing as I was just clocking into work and only had 30 seconds before my shift started, it was a bit easier to just make a quick post on my phone rather then start searching the internet. Appreciate the spoon feeding though, worked a lot faster. That's kind of why I joined here in the first place as its convenient, thanks though.

That is NOT the purpose of this forum. Don't expect that to be a regular occurance, please take the time to search around for your answers, especially a question that is ridiculously off topic, like the one you asked. The question wasn't even about a Maxima!!!

yes, I could of looked myself after work and if I did not get an answer I was going too. I thought I could just ask the question though and check later if anyone answered it before I could. I know how to do the research myself and would of but was pressed for time. Considering everyone either owns a maxima or has at some point we share some common ground. Not everyone needs a lecture.

But your grammar sucks, so you do need a lecture. Here it is: the phrase you were searching for is could have/would have (past subjunctive). The italicized portion is not a complete sentence, nor does it make sense. I think you forgot to type the word "to" after "going" - which would have been wrong anyway (preposition should not be placed at the end of the sentence).

And you're still lazy.
