yea... another trans thread

Hey guys! So I drove a firends maxima. The other day... Wow... His shifts(auto) were way quicker than mine, I have read that the possibilities are 1-tcm 2-valve body 3- solenoid 4- slipping trans... I know its not slipping its just incredibly long shifts, also sometimes pulling out of a parking lot if I rolled up to the exit then hit the gas I get a huge delay and the it takes off. So from what I've read, most people with the tcm issue say its more of a 1st to 2nd shift, the valve body I read is that the issue will happen in a certain gear ... What would cause it to happen with no cel. I have checked my tranny fluid its nice and pink, hard to read though, I do notice that 1st to 2nd shift is bad when cold but once warm it seems to be the quickest shift out of them all...

Generally, if the transmission shifts better when it warms up, the clutch packs are good and the problem generally lies in the valve body.
