Clear Side Marker question

I just purchased a set from Ipex Motoring.

I have not removed the originals yet.

The Front's came with a bulb and socket (that appears to accept a plug) already inserted into the Clear Marker housing. The Rears did not. Is there a reason for this difference ? For the Rears I assume I'll just replace the bulb when I replace the Side Marker but do I need to use the socket that came with the Fronts ?

thanks

I'm not running into a problem yet as I haven't started the install.
My question pertains is there a reason the fronts have a socket on the Clear Marker and the rears do not. (i.e. do I need to use this socket or can I just take the bulb out and use the socket from the OEM)

I just wanted to find this out before I started.

I did not try when I put mine on, but assume it will fit. What I did for the rears though was install red bulbs instead of the stock clear so it lights up properly at night, but 'stealth' during the day.

nismopc,

To clarify - did you use the socket that came with the Front Clears or discard that (except bulb) and insert the OEM socket into the Clear housing ?

I guess another way to ask my question - is the socket that came with the Front Clears the same socket that exists with the OEMs thus interchangeable.

thanks for your input
