6speed axles vs automatic axles

hey ppl, simple and short, i've been searching and searching for 2 weeks now and can find nothing telling me whether i can use an automatic passenger axle on a 6speed because someone in my area is parting out an automatic and i would hate to give him this money and it doesn't fit

In my experince, auto and manual axles do not interchange. A decent way to verify this is to compare part numbers. Not 100%, but a start in answering your question.

Short answer based on the current axle thread discussing this (no searching required, just look haha): Yes, it will work, but it will vibrate. So, don't use it.

Passenger side:

AT axle length compressed is 38 3/16"
MT axle length compressed is 39 3/16"

Dont do it!
