performance

ok guys i dont wanna sound stupid so im gonna say this as best as i can. in my 5.5 the cams usually open up or make a vtec like sound at 4000rpms but my motor went bad , i replaced it with the same motor but not its not doing it at all. there are no codes or nothing so im puzzled
it runs fine but im not getting that extra boost vq motors always give. HELP PLEASE

Check the VIAS.

You're welcome. Glad you found your problem! I had the broken clip and the rod was getting caught on it. Erratic WOT acceleration for sure! I was able to salvage enough of the clip to keep it running properly until I got around to buying a new clip. A few months later and it still works. I'm in no rush to buy an overpriced piece of plastic, now.
