Im new to the Maximas and have a question on the CAI fittment. I have an 03 and have been looking on Ebay for a good used one, but most that I find are for the 04 and up. Just wondering if an intake made for the 04 Maxima would work on an 03?

That's because there is no CAI that you can buy for the 5th gen.

I'm making my own, a few guys have done that as well.

You may be able to modify A 6th gen to work, but I'll let someone else chime in on that.

 

The 3.5 engines on the 03 body style look pretty much the same as the 04 body style 3.5. Has anyone used a CAI from the 04 models on their 02-03 models?
