very low timing?

so i got my car serviced about a month back after a bunch of crap from the dealer i got the car back "fixed" and then that same say i got SES p0302 they took it back said nothings wrong brought me the car back and bam it pops back up as it idles in my driveway. they took it back again and replaced coil and plug.

so a few days ago i was lookin at my trip im getting about 180ish miles and about a 1/4 tank left. seems crazy low mc****ty MPG

I have a Scan Gauge 2 and it shows;

7 Deg timing
181 deg engine temp
737 RPM
Closed Loop

Cleaned maf and checked plug and coil that was replaced today. maf was a lil dirty but still get that low 7deg timing.

7 degrees base timing? Wonder if a reflash will fix that?

Yea but you payed those b!tches and probably way too much so they have to make sure everything's perfect now.

You can't change the timing without a Consult II.

Are you talking about the base timing at idle? What is the coolant temperature? Check the timing just after the coolant fan comes on. I have found that base timing stays low if the temperature is not about 200F Since you have scangauge, you can check it easily.
