Can a bad clutch affect acceleration ? (no slippage by the way)

Hello
2002 6spd...122k miles (I have it now for 4k miles , 4 months ago) ........ Car felt great at first...And it almost lost its ***** now ...embarrising acceleration ... Car seems to pull up from idle to ~2000-2500 RPM range after that I only have a tachometer needle going up without real acceleration expected from a 255 hourse power engine.........

1.Is a "BAD" or "LOW" tranny fluid can affect acceleration badly ? I don't think so but correct me if I am wrong...
2.Could it be the clutch ? I can floor it on 6th at 40MPH without slippage

Please ... Don't say MAF , O2 sensors , plugs , seized calipers , filthy TB ,old air filter, Cats or low pressure in tires , VIAS not working or ECU reflash ... All are already checked or done (if not replaced)...NO CEL...Gas milage is 20-21MPG city...

By the way , engine REVS SO STRONG up to the red line in neutral...

No Slippage = No loss of accelleration.

You need to redefine your terms.

In answer to your direct question, YES, worn clutches will cause a loss of acceleration, the springs wear out as well as friction material, so the clutch discs don't 'clamp' down as hard on the flywheel.

Slipping doesn't need to be constant to be slipping ...~ ie. you rev it up and it goes nowhere, that's slipping, but SO IS when you gun it and it just takes off slowly, the clutch grabs intermittently, but still smoothly enough that you don't really notice the traditional 'slip'

Could be it is not clamping hard enough at higher rpms, you getting any burnt clutch odor after driving it hard?

I wouldn't be so quick to discount other issues, like the throttle body or slowly clogging cats. It is also warmer now, if you have the climate control system, the combination of warmer air and the a/c could make a difference. Might also be you are simply used to the acceleration now.

OK.......My mechanic said my clutch is going........He advices SACHS clutch.....Has anyone an idea about that ? is it good or should I look for exedy or OEM ? I like the solid clutch feel...And in the middle engagement point..if that makes a difference...

I went with a solid steel flywheel and a stock exedy DE 350 z clutch . I bought the clutch off amazon for 200 and some change.

I get this problem.... but with mine it doesn't pick up quick it's like if i run it in 1st and punch it.. it pulls but no wheel spin. but if i drive normal like 3rd gear and punch it hesitate with a low grumble then it goes. This is my first 6spd maxima so there's things imma need to figure out.
