A final word please , Stainless steel clutch line or keep factory line design ?

Hi
About to change both the master and slave cylinders for my clutch system in my 2k2.....I am very picky when it comes to the car feeling especially the clutch...So the question please for those with experience in this issue :

Is it better to change the line to the stainless steel one piece from MC to SC OR stick to the factory interstate-long clutch line ?

please I want the word from the knowlegable people .. I don't want to regret things afterwards and your input is apreciated...

thanks

Replace the rubber hose with stainless and leave the rest stock unless you have big issues with rust. Clutch feels great. I don't think it feels different. However, the stainless should last longer and it was cheaper to have it made than the replacement stock hose.

Thanks....I have ordered the one-piece line...Will I have too much extra length if I used it only replacing the old rubber one ? i.e. not as it was designed from MC to SC ?

MC to SC is better,The less plumbing the fluid has to travel through the better, You will get a little more of a direct pedal and less chance to get air in the lines and it will be easier to bleed and wont dry rot over time like the oem's do.

What do you mean from mc to sc? The SS clutch line is made only to replace the rubber line which goes to the transmission.

Directly from the slave cylinder to the master cylinder and deleting the factory hydrolic plumbing that looks like a jungle gym.

Ohhh I didn't even know they made that line. I don't have that line on my car anyway.

I did the line from the M/C to the S/C on my 4th gen. No change in pedal feel compared to stock. Kinda pointless to replace the metal lines if they're still good.

I just ordered my SS clutch line from mc to sc because I've got a leak somewhere i'm trying to find. I think it's alot cleaner than the jungle gym.

I replaced my clutch line with the full SS line from MC to SC. This fixed my mysterious clutch fluid leak. Initially with the SS line, the clutch felt 'grainy' or rough when letting out the clutch (engaging?) Though after a few days I got used to it and it feels just as smooth as before.

OP I'd go with the full line, its cleaner, gives you more wiggle room in the engine bay, and makes it easier to bleed the clutch as it removes the second bleeder.
