Re-working my exhaust...

I know that exhaust systems have been covered ad nauseum on here, but I have a very specific question. Since I am replacing the engine in my '02, I would like to find a setup that would yield an exhaust note as close as possible to a G35 Coupe. Can anyone on here reccommend a setup to achieve this?

Not to sound like a d1ck...but your best bet is to get a G35 coupe.

Just not going to happen, everything on our engines is wrong to reproduce that distinct tone of a G35 at launch. You would need to change the cams, change the IM and running tubes just to name a few things.

Plain and simple the VQ35 in our cars has its exhaust tone, and the G35 has its very own exhaust tone as well as the 350Z & 370Z have their exhaust tone ... you will spent hundreds dollars and never even get close to that tone.

Sorry about bursting that bubble, don't shoot the messenger

Cattman is the best sounding exhaust IMHO.
