grab a continuity tester and test the pigtail, wire, fuse. double check also if the bulb was properly installed.

I you have HID's you may have to check the ballast.

If it's not the bulb then it's probably the ballast. Could be the fuse but I don't think the high beam works if the fuse is blown.

$430 for a headlight being out? I thought if you got fixed in a set amount of time the ticket was revoked?

Like already said, use the trouble shooting guide to correct the problem.

Since when is a headlight ticket the same price as speeding 40 mph over the limit?

There are 4 fuses associated with the headlights, all of them under the hood.

Fuse # 68 - 15a left side high beam
Fuse # 54 - 20a left side low beam
Fuse # 69 - 15a right side high beam
Fuse # 55 - right side low beam

There a 2 relays, one for the left side and one for the right side. Each relay has 2 sets of contacts, one for the low beam and one for the high beam.

Hope this helps.

It very well could. Switching between 00/01 and 02/03 headlighs IS NOT plug and play. Check the wire harnesses going to the headlights for splices. You may find a bad splice.

There was someone that posted the wiring modifications for converting a 00/01 to 02/03 headlights not all that long ago. Might have been TunerMaxima3000.

EDIT:
I found the link to the wiring conversion for putting 02/03 headlights in a 00/01. It is by TunerMaxima3000 and he did a great job.

http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...guide-diy.html

After you read this conversion thread, if someone put the older headlights in your car, they had to do some wiring changes and that's probably where you problem lies.

This kind of information should be given up front! It would have steered you into right direction from the begining. Not to mention getting postings that turned out to be of absolutly no use to you. Hope that they may help someone else, down the road.
