Have a Problem with Shifting...
Well The Problem that i have with my 2000 Maxima is that every time i am driving, I try to Accelerate Fast but have to let off the gas a bit for my transmission to shift properly, I really don't know if this is a problem with a part or some where in the ecu, I tried resetting it, but no luck. And if i Floor it it will Rev at High Rpm's Without Shifting, If anyone has had or know what kind of problem this is please help me out.
Well my advice to you would be to NOT try to drive it fast.
Thats not going to do anything but make it worse, if you want to be able to still drive your car and diagnose the problem at the same time (Im assuming this is the car you regularly drive) just take it easy while you figure it out.
Ive heard of this problem in other cars caused not by the electrical components but the actual mechanical devices associated with the shifter (ex: between the steering column, brake pedal, and shifter). If you dont know what you're doing ask a friend that knows what they're doing or take it to a shop. You can probably fix this problem yourself if you are willing to get dirty and do the research.
PS
Changing your transmission fluid could potentially solve your problem. The job isnt too difficult but it isnt the same as changing your oil, you will need to be prepared with knowledge and materials.

So What should i buy that might solve the problem, also yes it is my every day car it's a automatic and when i drive i drive semi fast i also us the 1 2 and Drive i really dont know if that matters but i shift myself (does that make a difference or hurt the car?) well right now it runs good but i would want it to shift faster so i can start fixing it up to run the strip. It is paid off so i am Going To Put money into this car..

Listen, I understand that driving fast is SUPER fun. Having said that a car is just like you, if you continue to run on an injured leg the injury is just going to get worse.
If you dont care to blow up the transmission then you can continue driving the way you do, in this day and age you better try what you can to keep that money in your pocket. Just keep the car in drive instead of using the low gears and take it easy on the throttle. A cheap fix will turn a car into a money pit fast if you abuse/ignore the situation. Then you might end up with repairs, towing costs, etc that could exceed the value of the car...
Seriously unless you have another car to drive I advise you to just chill out for a week or two at least until you figure out what is wrong with it. Personally, I would much rather have a car that drove rather than a car that sits in the driveway and doesnt run.
If youre willing to put money into it just buy a manual transmission..
In any case, taking your car to the track with a problem like that I GUARANTEE you will just lead to you being very embarrassed when it blows up right off the line.
If youre willing to put money into it then fix the basics before you start putting aftermarket parts on it because those are just going to add to the strain on the vehicle. I honestly cant say I know a solution to your problem but maybe someone else on here will.

You should have gotten a manual if you wanted to drag.
There could be a few things which might be leading to the issue:
1. Old tranny fluid (change it as others have suggested). I recommend doing a flush and putting in synthetic ATF. Mobil 1 is my preference.
2. If the flush doesn't help then it can be your solenoids, and/or your TCM. Both parts are not terribly difficult to change out. Do a search and you will find a lot of people have/had this issue including me.
Ultimately I was able to get a valvebody mod which gives crisper shifts and helps with the life of the tranny. I haven't had any issues since I completed the valvebody mod. When I did it, I also changed out the solenoids just to be sure. It has been over 210,000 miles on the same transmission, no issues after the VB mod.

Guess What Guys!!! nothing was wrong with my tranny, the flush is still a good idea on the year of my car and seeing how many miles i have on it im still doing that but i think there was a wire that was missing off of my MAF Sensor because as soon as i got a Aftermaket one, It Runs like a Champ Boosted horsepower like Crazy and more Torque to the wheels thanks for all the Advise though
Good to hear, but your original diagnosis was off. A bad MAF which is obvious what you had will give a sluggish feeling to the Max. A REALLY bad MAF won't let you get over 2,000 RPM's so watch for that. If you see that it is an instant tell tale sign.
Just for future problems try and identify the symptom(s) as completely and accurately as possible so we can help you more effectively.
