so im thinking about picking this 2000 maxima up, se, 117k for 2k, seller says its all nice needs a little work, he says sometimes it shifts great 1st to second and other times it shifts hard 1st to 2nd but it will not shift into 3rd at all? i havnt looked at the car for the basics like fluid level and condition,etc. from what ive read there is a lot of solenoid failures and TCM failures, i found a couple links on here under the FAQ but the links is dead so really dont have any info in it

any ideas would be awesome, i will continue searching for some answers

well i know for sure i could get it for 1500 anyday, even if it needs a tranny they arnt that hard to replace i have done them before and have access to a lift and such, just trying to get an idea what i could possibly be
