If I'm replacing the window motor do I need the regulator as well?

Spoke on this before, rear right window doesn't work, window went down, couldn't go back up.

Do I need to order both the motor and the regulator or can I get away with just the motor?

You should be fine with just the motor. Though it wouldn't hurt to pull the door panel off and verify that the regulator cable is still tight.

Yes, he is right. You should pull the door panel to verify wahts broken. How did you determine its the motor?

I pulled it off yesterday, it looks fine but I don't know what the regulator is but the wires seem fine.

It has no power, went down but didn't go back up then it just went dead.

Also is the parts the same for the front and rear windows?

,,,, I have never seen a parts store that sells them individually. As far as I'm aware, it's just considered the same thing motor/regulator as an assembly.

If you guys can find the motor assembly separate, that's cool, how much are you saving though? Is it worth risking?

Not really some dude here has a 02 and wants 30 for the motor and it's 50 new at rockauto so it doesn't make sense to buy such a old motor that could possibly die on me quickly. I just wanted to save a couple bucks.

ahahaha then go buy the new one, silly question IMO.
