has anyone order from them? if yes, how's their shipping? fast or slow. and do you just get the plasic cover or you get the light bulbs too? and if it includes light bulbs are they yellow or white? thx

ONLY the front clears come with bulbs, which are amber. The rears DO NOT come with any bulbs.

Yes, both front and rear bumper lights are 194 (wedge) lights.

 

Took about 4 weekdays for mine to come..

Go to Pep boys or whomever and get red 194 bulbs for rear to be legal at night.

 

Those bulbs look pinkish tho..go to ur riceshop and get some Polarg M-21s those are the reddest I think.

 

Why would it be elegal to have clearlights in them? I meen 99% of the car's on the road do not even have reflectors on the back sides of the car. Argh, stupid rules **** me off!

 

Reason clear corners aren't legal is cause they don't reflect red. All cars have red reflectors...it's just that usually they're installed inside of the rear 'wraparound' tailight assembly. 5th gens don't really wrap around I guess (?)

 

I woudln't worry about all the laws. For inspection thats a diffrent story, but both my friend and i have clear corners for the 00' well actually i have clear in front and amber in back and we haven't gotten any trouble from the po po yet and i doubt we ever will, even if we get pulled over. Hell they probably dont' even know the rules with the corner lights

 

I ordered the corners from custommaxima.com and it took a few days to get them. Not a big deal.

You can get the red bulb for the rear(M-21) shipped from courtesy.

The clears are not legal anywhere in the US for street use. They are not DOT ( Dept. of Transportation) or SAE (Society of Automobile Engineers) approved. Not that any cop would know that or what that means, but it could be a problem for some. Personally, I don't care and I'm putting them on.

 

I spoke with an inspection station here in northern Va and he said it is based on the putput of the light

So in light of that, I went with the Red APC bulbs from autozone and they are being installed this afternoon!!
