ebay.. but i would be leary .. just go to a non-chain muffler shop.. tell them you think your cat is clogged and ask them what they can do for you..

i've got one that replaces the cat and that little tiny pipe that connects the cat to the b pipe...for sale, just like everything else...cost me $110 to have it made..304 stainless

Oh. Wowee he will get 2 1/2 HP and a great septic tank like smell at stop lights with this pipe. Totally worth it

the only time you get wierd smells from your car is if your cat is clogged.. NOT IF YOU REPLACE IT WITH A TEST PIPE..

 

I went to a muffler shop, gave them the pipe specifications, they made me my straight pipe, I installed it myself, and lived happily ever after. The End.

 

how much does that actually help

 

alone, minimal gains if any.... with a y-pipe and cat-back, probably a little more.

 

the test pipe alone will not yeild big gains.. however it free's up the exhaust and as you add more mods the gain will get bigger.. add Nitrous, Turbo or Supercharger.. the gain could be as much as 10 hp.. it really depends..

Well I'm not sure what effects it'll have on the Maxima but when I did a straight pipe and catback on my 95 GS300 it shaved off .6 sec off my 1/4 mile. Stock the car was slow as hell running 17.8 @ 87. After the intake,straight pipe ,catback and 90 shot the car ran 14.5 @ 96.

GS might be more restrictive than the maxima.. other results may vary

 

Yeah the GS took to mods fairly well. Just the intake and exhaust and the car and you can definitely feel the difference on the highway.

get caught? state to state .. city to city is diff.. usually a $5000 - $25,000 fine...

ither you get pulled over and the cop looks under your car how many times does that happend?

or you go to inspection and you leave it on there..

I have a 95 Max So I think it should fit alright its little over 13 inches long and little bit over 2 inches in diameter if you wanted email me .
