control arm bushings
control arm bushings
I'm going to change out control arm and sway bar bushings. Question is should I replace the ball joints? I'm going to have the arm off already. All my rod ends and linkages where changed at about 96k. Also bearings have been done.(Slid into a curb)
Seems like the logical thing to do but it is an extra 150 bucks.

It's cheaper to just replace entire lower control arm/ball joint as a kit instead of having them pressed out and replaced...
...here one of many available.

To answer your question, yes, replace the ball joints while the LCA's are out, saves you some $$$ and time, I got my BJs (lol) from O'rielys, they come w/ a lifetime warranty, so free BJs for the rest of my life (yes, free BJ's....)
