One Brake Light Not Working

2K Maxima - one of the brake lights isn't working. Tail light works but doesn't brighten when brake pedal is pushed. Tried replacing the bulb but nothing. It looks like from the circuit diagram that one wire feeds both sides and I don't see any fuses or relays after the wire splits. Any ideas?

Could be the brake light switch. I would check that.

No. only one wire from the brake light switch to the rear of the car for both brake lights.

Problem solved. The new bulb had a bent wire. Staightened it out and reinserted and now it works. Thanks.
