Weird acceleration pickup problem

anyone have/had issues when you floor it the car slowly accelerates but if you quickly release the gas pedal and then mash it again it instantly springs to life? I'm having that issue right now just trying to figure out what it could be

Yeah, I learned this first hand buying my Max earlier this year. First electronic throttle car I've owned though I've driven a few Mercs that had it and hated those too.

Get used to it after a while but there's no real "fix" that I know of.

Oh so it's changed drastically? Wonder if you're having transmission issues or something. I'm too new to the scene to troubleshoot that, sorry!

Can't hurt to clean it. Pretty easy to do and various people have found it to fix all sorts of acceleration problems.

Give it a shot
