First time poster here and this let me say this:

You guys REALLY know your mods.

I can't wait to start the mods on my MAX 2000.

Oh yeah, for some reason my MAX doesn't have any model markings. GXE, SE etc... None anywhere on the car.

What kind of MAX do I REALLY have? hehehe

This is what I have: Nissan Maxima 2000, no fog, 9 spoke MAG, 6 speakers cd cass, seat warmer, electric doors and windows, no sunroof, no wing, A/C, Automatic.

Maybe the dealer forgot about it, but I am not the only MAX around my area that doesn't have the model markings...

 

The only 2K that doesnt come with fog lights is the GXE

 

hm.........weird, usually all maxima's should have model badge on the lower right side of the trunk, next to the key hole.

Usually if there's no fog lights, no rear spoiler, and no leather, it is a GXE. But it looks like you've got yourself a *premium* GXE, with the Meridian package heated seats.....

my GXE has no badging. the maximas at the dealers round here either have a GLE, an SE, or none at all (GXE)

 

9 spoke Mags? Not on any stock 2K's. You either get steel wheels w/ covers (GXE), or 5 spoke alloys (GLE, early SE), or 7 spoke alloys (SE).

Sounds like a GXE to me. What color are the guages?

 

You have the loaded GXE with comfort and convenience package + meridian package. Very nice. I have the GXE with C and C. I swapped the alloy wheels though. I liked the 5 spoke better.
