So my resonator has a small leak, so I was thinking of cutting it out and welding in a straight pipe. Does anyone know the stock size of it? I think it's 2" but not positive. Also how will this sound, leaving the stock muffler out the back?

 

I think it would sound interesting. The muffler does silence it a lot in our cars, but without the res it should be somewhat louder and definitely more throaty.

I think it's 2.25". Where's the leak at?

 

Ya Nissan generally uses 2.25, we did it on my buddy's Altima it has deeper throatier tone, nice cheap mod too.
