i was searching around and could not find a firm answer. my passenger headlight went out, can i replace the bulb with a 6k bulb or do i need to buy a replacement ballast? thank you

No need to buy a new ballast if your bulb blew out, All you need to do to upgrade to 6k bulbs is replace them. It will work 100% but maybe sure the bulbs are 35w.
