differance between 95-99 and 00-01 coilpacks ?

I know there's a lot of coil pack threads. But I need coilpacks, and a guy I know has a spare set of 95-99 coilpacks laying around.

Is it possible to make them fit my 01 without to much trouble ?

All 6 will fit no problem. You will have to get different bolts to bolt them down but thats it.

The 95-99 bolts are a smaller diameter thread. The holes in the coilpack for the bolts are smaller too, so your stock 00-01 bolts wont fit.

When I was running 95-99 coilpacks in mine, I never had a problem till they started missfiring again. (old used ones i had lying around)

For me, its just a matter of what is in the junkyard. 90% of the time it will be a 4th gen. I just POP the tops off and stick em in my pocket. Lol.

Rear 99 coil packs did not fit my 01, with the female end facing the front of the car, the bolt hole is way off.
I flipped it around so the female end faced the firewall. And then the harness/clip is way short.

Going to take it dry and buy 6 new coils .....
