The car started today but will look into the ECU and IACV tomorrow morning. Hopefully is something easy to fix and nothing really expensive. As per codes havent been able to take it to Autozone to check for them.. Thanks for the help....

be careful if you drive somewhere cause it can not start on you and then you're gonna be dealing with towing charges. if youre CEL is on, its an easy check to see if thats the problem but the symptoms point to that, in my opinion anyway...
good luck

had the same thing happen to a friends altima and the mechanic said that this happens to maximas as well and the symptom is the car wont start. it might start once or twice but its a crap shot when it will work. it was the crankshaft position sensor, there are two of them so if one's bad, its a good idea to replace both of them. i think they were like 60 each from the stealership so its not too bad and my mechanic friend took 150 for the job...

IF thats the problem
he could remove one of the coil packs to see if it is actually firing, if notm then he needs to check the input to the ECU, the crank sensor is the usual suspect, but i wouldnt rule anything out.
Timing off , bad CKP sensor either by the flywheel or crank pulley could cause a no spark issue.

it might have gone bad, sorry to say but your starter might have crapped out along with whatever else may be going on. i'll still bet on the camshaft sensor(s) but your starter doesnt sound good either, especially if you cranked it a lot trying to start it, i've done that to an old acura integra when my distributor blew and i ended up killing the starter, good luck man, keep us updated...

Not likely to kill a starter by starting a car. over cranking it can cause it to overheat of course. Or cranking on and off for extended periods. But just cranking it over a little more than normal won't kill your starter unless it was already on it's way out, or it's an incredibly cheap POS starter.
Poor grounds and bad connections sound to be more at fault than anything else. The most common bad connection is always the battery terminals, so clean them, wiggle em, replace them, the solder type go bad when you get bad connections because they overheat.
The next most common one is the connector that the trigger wire from the starter goes to.
And run new 8 or 4AWG grounds, 1 from your battery to chassis, one from that same spot to the tranny, - starter bolt is a quick place to grab. And while you're at it run one from the alternator to chassis.
Then if you want to go even better run some 8 AWG from the IM grounds over to the alternator too, that one will help alleviate a lot of sensor issues in the future.
