DR mod increases line presssure either it on or off. Theres no middle. Most people hook up a switch that can deactivate this resistor for spirited driving; while other mainly 4th gen and 5th gen place it on throttle body.

I'll be doing it like that. I've had a switch forever but haven't hooked it up.

Has the lagging shift been a recent problem, or always been there?

If a recent problem you should get it fixed and not put a band aid on it with the drop resister mod. Besides, you'll do more damage to your tranny with the drop resistor mod in the long run anyhow.

Your best alternative is to find a modded VB...if you can find one.

Yea a pantometer is what i was thinking.... foodmanry- its always stayed the same... no worse.. but... on rainy days.. if.om driving it around and let say... sit and wait for a train to cross and take off.. sometimes the.shifts are quick! its wierd.. but then it returns to a sloppy shift.... its only on rainy days it d oes that ... its like sitting it builds up the line pressure... but only when wet???? i thought maybe it was a grounding issue.. so i grounded a big 8g wire from the neg frame rail mount from the batt to the trans but no help ... i do have issue with delayed starts... a delivery problem... ciuld a fuel issue have anything.to do with sloppy shifts u think?
