Coilover help.

I have found a set of Ground Control coilovers with Eibach coilover springs made to fit in the stock struts on my A33. Do you guys think it will ride rough even with the Eibach springs in them? Here's the link.

I've always wondered myself if those GC's were worth anything. I just didn't want to ask.

They probably wouldn't be so bad if you were doing a mild drop, but I wouldn't want to try to slam a car with them. The struts will probably blow out in no time if you tried that.

Garbage? I last I checked, these paired with Koni Yellows were said to be the best handling setup available for our cars. Now if your just just looking to slam your ride, there are other options. But I don't think that makes the Ground controls garbage.

^^Where exactly did you 'check' that said this? Please post your source.

Because I disagree 100%.

Are you running the GC/Koni setup on your car?

I know JSutter is/was and will argue to the grave that GC's with shortened Koni's are best.

Not the best handling by far, maybe on a budget.

4th/5th Coilover availability isn't the same either.

Alright thanks guys. I have read stuff about the koni yellow/gc setup and thats the only reason I asked. One of my buddies in town has ebay coilovers with stock struts on his car slammed out and the ride isn't much worse than stock though..I'll probably go with D2's or Megan anyhow.

i'm guessing he has a honda...i'm not knocking GCs/koni setup because in the honda world...they rank as a pretty damn good setup...but i dont think i'd run sleeve/struts on a car as big/heavy as ours. owning a honda right now i'm considering running a sleeve/strut setup, but i'm thinking more of running full coilovers because of how much i enjoyed them when i had them on my 5th
