Tired of CEL and no power. Help!

Ok guys, I've had my '00 i30 for about two yrs now. I've replaced two coils and still have the p1320, I also have installed a y pipe, unorthodox racing Udp and in fender CAI.

Car has no power, stumbles in low rpm (think light jerking) and is worthless above 3.8-4k. These symptoms are making me want to cut my losses and get a new car but I love the look and feel of the Car itself. Car only has 115k and from cars I see on here it should still be going strong.
All help welcome.

Thanks in advance

Hows ur timing? knock sensor? ive heard a knock sensor wont actually throw a knock sensor code... it will throw a coil misfire code though.... research ks i may have it backwords i too suffer from low rpm hes. and it feels like a dog if im cruising and get back on it... my hes. clears up when warm but still there.... other pos. are but dont relate to mil... maf, tps, cps, cam shaft sensor, you could have hes. lack of power because of somethin other than ur p1320.. Did u replace.with aftermatket coils ? what was the reason for replacing the coils? because of the mil? did u notice a.change at.all after replacing? did u use oem or aftermarket coils? aftermatket coils suck cuz some will fix the issue but leave the mil on... more info ....

Is the P1320 the only code? You still have 4 coils that are possible suspects. Have you checked the resistance of them? Also as a possibility is the condensor (capacitor) that is in the red power wire that goes to all the coils.

Also, never forget the MAF--was it ever replaced? Its not uncommon for them to go bad. When they go, they can give you the type of symptoms that you described, sometimes without a code.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I had a P0301 and a P1320. I changed the coil that with an aftermarket coil from Advance Auto. It improved idle but didnt fully clear the miss so I did the test where you unplug each coil one by one until there in no change plugged in vs unplugged. With that test I determined another rear coil that was out. I replaced that one with an oem I bought on the .org.

I have not replaced the MAF and I do consider that a significant possibility but hevent gotten a code for it.

I am just ready to see my car run the way it should. I did the mods after I had the cel issue and I had replaced the coils/plugs and to be honest, while it did feel stronger at first compared to before the y pipe and UDP, I am not sure it felt any better than when I first bought it bone stock

Keep the input coming as I am determined to fix the issue. I want to see what the car actually should feellike with the mods because right now its pretty disappointing

The MAF won't throw a code unless it's way gone. It just sends erroneous data to the ECU that it'll try to correct for. Cleaning the MAF is the first step, and if it improves things, a replacement is something to consider down the line.

So your codes are clear and it's still not running right?
