steering wheel controls failing
BTW, happy new years Navfe.
same here, the mode works fine but the vol ^v and the main ^v are laggin, its getting on my nerves, i dont wanna have to buy a new switch
Mine have trouble working when it is cold outside (<60). The contacts could also be dirty. I took mine apart and cleaned the contacts. The buttons worked significantly better after that.
Here is a write up I did several years ago:

Unfortunately, lost all of those extras when I switched to the directly connected version for my Eclipse Radio.
I have had the steering wheel switches fail, usually just swap them out and good to go, every once in a while encounter the clock spring breaking and needs replacing.
Mine used to do that, but when I replaced just the buttons, that problem disappeared...go figure
Hey buddy
- how's it goin?
Not 100% on that. It definitely does everything the OEM buttons do. It's just MUCH faster in response time than the PAC units.
