Sway Bar Bushing Bolt Size

Hey guys, Im planning on replacing my sway bar bushings but when I first attempted to take off that bracket that keeps the actual bushing in, the bolts were too rusted to come off (even after PB blaster). So Im planning on using a dremel to cut the bolts off, so since im cutting them off what are the bolt sizes?

Did you try a breaker bar or just putting a long metal pipe over your wrench for more leverage? I have a Florida car with no rust and it still took a breaker bar for me to loosen these bolts when I replaced my bushings this past weekend.

When you need to use a lot of force to remove a nut or bolt, it is best to use a 6 point socket (or wrench) to reduce the chances of rounding off the corners of the nut or bolt.

+1^^^ All good tips so far, Repeat the Pb Blaster couple more times and try to get a few good hits with mallet/hammer too. If you have one, a BernzOmatic torch should be able to get some heat to it also. Beware that doing this will ignite the bushing so be prepared to put out any flames. GL

My bracket bolts somehow came right out with a little penetrant and a Gearwrench on my '00 w/ over 100K at the time

Thanks for the input guys, but I dont have much room to work with in the sway bar area so the breaker bar could be tough to use. And I dont have a BernzOmatic torch like KT3MaxSE said. So I might just bite the bullet on this one and go to the shop...
