I have been using gas with no ethanol and saw an increase in better gas mileage. Roughly 2-3 mpg.

Non ethanol gas around here is hard to come by. There's only one closest station to me that sells it, but only in mid grade 89 octane.

I did see a drop in economy once the government mandated the "Up to 10% ethanol" gasoline. At that time, I had a 2 door 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP (supercharged 3.8 V-6) that had some mods done to it. With combined city and highway driving, I averaged between 19 to 19.5 mph via the car's trip computer. When the new government mandated fuel showed up here, it immediately dropped to 16.5 to 17.5 mpg average.

I did not notice any increase/decrease in performance via the butt dyno.

I only used Shell V-Power 93 octane premium gas in that car, and also in my current Maxima.

In EastTN, we have a few Ethanol free stations that sell 93 octane. The farmer's co-op sells 87 octane for tractors and mowers. I've heard many of these guys talk about how the ethanol kills thier equipment.....small engines go first like weed eaters. Ethanol is harsh stuff!
There is a website (which I don't recall right off hand) that you key in your location and it will show you local stations that carry ethanol free gas. Just use google and it should point you in the right direction!

My 2nd best MPG record ever (for those that don't know I am 6mt) was actually done with 100% real gas purchased in OKC, I got 38mpg with my 5mt.

But some say it was a freak incident, because that mpg only lasted on that tank of gas, and has YET to been repeated, but also that was the last time my 5mt made it to Kansas, it bit the dirt later that year (because race car).

That record stood for me for a very long time until I got the lightweight wheels, and a decent tail wind and I got 40mpg (with e10 though) with the 6mt on my VQ30's last road trip ever to Baton Rouge.

I live only 45 miles from Kansas and often drive there in the Max. Your "freak" is not a freak. I usually stay around 28-33 MPG when using that fuel. For Kansas having nothing it it they sure got good gas

I wish there was a station within driving distance of Las Vegas that sold E0.

Here is the ethanol free provider list.

Edit: should have looked before I spoke, apparently there now is one in town, though the other side of town, about 30 miles.
