What offset would I need for my Max if I get 18x7.5's (exp. +38,+45)

Those wheels look OK, kinda like knock off BBS style to me. One quick advice if you get those, they will be a b$tch to clean and maintain.

I would go with a 8" wide if it s avaliable, and a 35-40 offset. Dont go with the 7.5 and 45 offset, they will be sucked inside and in my opinion not look that great, especially for the money on the volk sebrings. Ive got 8 inch wide 40 offset wheels on my current ride with room to spare.(both ways). If you go with a 8.5 wide wheel, cuz i dont think they offer a 8 inch in that wheel, go with a 40 offset. Tires 235 35 19.

So I should go with a 18x8.5 with a 40 offset. Also what is the size of the wheels on a SE 17x7 or 17x7.5

These are my options 18x7.5 with offsets of +38 and +45, Then 18x8.5 with an offset of +27, +33, +40, and +45 but +33, +40, and +45 say that denotes non-high pad wheel, what does that mean?

19x8.5 with 245 tires fit perfact with a 39mm offset its what I run . Almost perfactly flush. I say get that handles good. Ive seen those wheels in person they look good. And not all that heavy so Im told. If you want you could run a 40 series side wall on the tire if you can find it it will clear and make it slightly more cushy

If 19" fit. And 20 fit. Don't you think 18 would fit? Not trying to be rude just seems redundant.

To me 19"s are perfact. Esspecailly if you don't have coilovers. they fit in there great. give the car a nice look...solid performance. Good handling. 19x8.5 39 mm offset 245 tire 35 or 40 seriers rubber. You picked some good wheels now you know the size width and size tire to run. 19" or 20's to me are good. 18"s not much of an up size. 17"s to me why put the same size on but hey. Up to ya. Now just pick out some good rubber and have fun.

excellent tire! You might be able to find some S-02 still out there so you could get a discounted price since they aren't made anymore. I have a friend who has the S-02's on his supra and they are great. The new S-03's are supposed to be even better since they have a longer treadwear rating, but I know there is no conclusive evidence of that yet. I say they are a great tire, and I know Irvine will agree with me ... that's what he has. Max'n has those yoko's which he really likes and I now have Falkens (upgraded from Continental's) which I really like. If I had the money to burn though, the S-03's would be my choice!

Bridgestone is ok. I love yoks but I woun't run them in snow at all. But in the rain traction is not a prob...at all. It's like no rain at all. I recomend staying away from falken. Perielli is good. Michelin pilots are nice. so theres a few for ya. As far as teh 35 vs 40 seriers i know I encoraged looking at both now you really need to look at what you want. A 40 on a tire that wide is gonna have some good size side wall. Granted if a it's z rated its not soft. But the car will run a little softer in the corners as aposed to 35. A 35 lets you feel the road a little better, corner stronger etc. With that all said Alot comes down to the suspension you choose. So choose your tires and suspension together cuz that is what will make or break the ride and handling.

Ok the wheel pictured for a 19x8.5 has an offset of +30 and +40 which should I use and it denotes non-high pad wheel.
