I just bought a 2000 SE, on a recommendation from my aunt and uncle. They're on their 3rd Max...first was a '95, then a '98, and now an '01 SE.

My dad has a '90 GXE and my hubby has an '01 SE, does that count? I have a '92 stanza (I know it's not a max, but at least we're keeping in the nissan family).

Yup! I have a 98 SE 5spd. Just got my wife a 2k2 auto. Have yet to race them though, still breaking in the new one. Both nice, the 2k2 is REALLY nice. It has all of the little things the 98 should.

I had a 97SE 5-sp and now I have a 00SE 5-sp. My mom liked it so much she bought an 01SE auto. Not the same household, but still... Interesting differences between the auto and standard. I do love driving her autoMax from time to time.

If I had a family with two cars, I'd get a high end car and a low-mid range car. Like an M3 and a 2K2 Altima combination. Or a Corvette and an Accord. Two Maximas would be nice, but I'd prefer the other combinations.

hmm if I have that choice it might be something like viper & GMC yukon XL or the new cadillac pickup truck.

Wife's car ... she can't drive stick. Believe me, I tried to convince her that it would be fun to learn!

And to answer your next question... she gets the bigger, nicer, safer car because she's toting the kids around. That's OK, I still get to drive it on evenings/weekends. Besides, my Altima handles better.

no

not in household per se, but family:

My father-in-law has a 2k1 SE;
My brother-in-law has a 96 GLE;
My OTHER brother-in-law bought my modded 95 SE;

.. and my i30 counts, too.

Had a '97 and a 2K at the same time (thus the screen name). Had a '96 before the '97.

The wife got sick of shifting the '97 in traffic, and when the lease was up, we got the TL-S. Last May, the 2K2 Max was not yet available, otherwise we might have had 2 Maximas in the garage.

Since the QX-4 still counts as a Nissan, we've had at least 2 Nissans in the garage at the same time since 1996

On my second Max, had a 96' Icelandic Pearl that I traded for the 2k Icelandic Pearl. About four months ago picked up a 2k1 Pathfinder LE - YES it's white too, matches my boat.
