Stupid question

how do you add pictures on your sig ? I've tried 'search' but no luck.

Check out http://forums.maxima.org/misc.php?action=bbcode for some help.

You need to first have your picture posted somewhere on the web (e.g. your homepage) to link to. Somebody correct me if there's a way around this, but you can't just have the picture that you want to display sitting on your PC's hard drive.

You are correct...it has to be hosted on the Internet, since we can't all access your PC's hard drive to see the picture. You would see it when you visit the site, but we would all see a pretty red 'X'.

So you have to have your pic uploaded somewhere on the web ? you cant' just cut and paste huh....damn

Used to be able to attach 50K or smaller pics, but that feature was cut to improve server performance I assume.
