I currently have a 2000 infiniti i30 with 215/55/16.

I located some Kuhmo Solus tires that are 215/45/17. Pretty good deal, as I can get all 4 for $200 (they have 90% tread left).

Anyway, i searched, but couldnt come up with anything conclusive. Will these Kuhmo tires fit my i30? And if so, will they look ok? Drive ok?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you go with 17" wheels it will fit, if not no can do, you can't put 17" tires on 16" wheels, never happened never will.

 

as stated above as long as you are going to also pickup 17" rims you can easily put on tire widths of 215, 225, 235 and even 245

 

ok...thanks fellas. Just as i figured. Just looking for some decent prices 215 tires...or any tires that would look good on my i30. Cant really spend 500 on tires at the moment

 

Shoot, 215/60/R16s would fit fine. It'd alter your speedometer a bit, but it's a lot cheaper to buy 60-profile tires than 55s. Example, the General Altimax HP (which is a fantastic budget tire) is $105 for 215/55/R16 H and $101 for 215/60/R16 V, even with the higher speed rating.
