2K2 Track Times

I read that DMBMaxima88 ran a 14.3 with his 6-speed, but he took out the rear seats and lowered the tire pressure. When I ran my 14.4 in my 2K2 auto, I had everything in my car: all seats, spare, tools, normal tire pressure, and 1/2 tank of gas. I think it might be possible for me to get a 14.3 or even 14.2 with my car stripped. I really won't know until the track opens up again, and by then I will have a custom y-pipe and custom b-pipe.

I did have the cone, but I'm not sure how much it helps - although it sounds great . If you run a 14.1, that would be awesome, I'm hoping to be down in the 14.1-14.2 range with custom y&b pipes along with the stock exhaust from my dad's '94 Supra TT.

I am looking at doing a custom Ypipe for my 2k2 also. Any advice or suggestions?

My dad is really big in the automotive world in the southeast - he has some connections with performance exhaust shops. So I hope to get a hook-up. Really the only advice is less restrictions, and larger diameter. MAKE SURE THEY USE MANDREL BENDERS. I'll let you guys know what I do.

Later,
Daniel
