ok i have 02 infiniti i35



and today i worked on 06 Altima SE R and it STOCK and sounded so bad a$$

motor look identical to my i35 Would the exhaust and ECU for the altima SE R work on my car (aka as a performance upgrade? )

 

Maybe if you had an 04 dude. But there sre enough documented difference between the 04 plus 3.5 and the 02 03 3.5 to say it will probably require more considerations than a simple plug and play.

 

No and no, the ecu has much more to do than just the engine.

 

 

+1 on that. In fact you minus well start think in terms of changing the whole wire harness if you change the ECU to thatk of a different engine and model. It would probably be easier than all the splicing you would have to do to get it to work with your current car properly. Not to mention it would probably never work properly with your current car you could get it close but there would always be some sort of bug to work out.

 

Different animals. If you want more performance and sound from your Infiniti, buy some bolt-ons. Y-pipe, (or headers), catback, intake, intake spacers, etc.
Or, buy an 06 SER.
