Phone Conversation with Trenz about custom grille for 5th Gen

I decided to call them up just to see if there are plans to develop an aftermarket grille for the 5th Gen. There is a grille that is currently under development. Trenz is awaiting a car to fit it on before they'll actually release it into production. Apparently there's still a question as to whether the Maxima's grille insert can be removed. Trenz wants to confirm it with a test car. They expect to be have something available by the end of January. Trenz also mentioned that an initial inquiry was made by CustomMaxima.com.

In the December article of Lowrider Euro there was a grille replacement in the current gen Nissan Sentra. The stock grille unmount procedures look a lot like what's been said of the new Altima. I'm assuming the same holds true for the 5th gen Maxima. I've looked under the hood and it looks like the grille is an insert independent of the bumper.

The person I spoke with said feel free to contact them for updates. Here's the number: 661-393-0909 7AM - 5PM Pacific Time

No, actually I did read the thread. I even posted to it as well. I decided to give them a call just to get an update. I wasn't trying to take credit for it or anything. That's why I made reference to custommaxima.com.

It's okay though. Everyone has to try to be a comedian!
