Warpspeed v Cattman

I used the search and couldnt come up with what i was looking for.
I wanted to get a few opinions on which would be ther better option for my Ypipe. How much better is Cattman then warpspeed performance, longevity, reputability wise? warpspeed is $199 new shipped, i can get a used cattman for $200 shipped. Which way would you guys lean?

The warpspeed flex's look like they wouldnt last very long aswell. From research i did i believe i read with the Cattman my precats had to be removed but with the Warpspeed they could stay. overall is the warpspeed y pipe a decent product if you must replace oem? the sale on the cattman may fall through.

Cattman's go through the R&D to make sure they're not only high quality, but that the fitment is almost perfect, if not actually perfect. You will be much happier with the Cattman's, even if they are used.

I haven't heard any terrible things about Warpspeed, and I haven't personally heard much about the flex pipes, so I can't speak on that. But there are plenty of guys that use them, and from what I've read/heard, they're a pretty good option. Cattman's are just that extra step up.

I really appreciate the input, it looks like either way they are both much better then my rusted out, chopped up oem Y.

I appreciate the input but i need to replace my Y pipe as it is and im on a bit of a budget, thats why if the sale falls through on the Cattman i have to go with warpspeed...Its amazing how quick a daughter changes your financial situation lol.

OBX Headers will run about ~$50 more than just getting the Y-pipe, but GHustle is right that it would be a more complete route to go. But if you are dead set on just going with a Y, then the Cattman's your best bet.

Right at the moment im pretty strapped at $200-$250 range due to the fact i became a father 5 weeks ago. i dont want to put my daughter in a car with any leaky exhaust so i dont really have time to save anymore money. I know cheap isnt the right route to go but sometimes i gotta make sacrifice...unfortunately. with that said i would agree and would love to go headers/ypipe/catback.

Well congratulations on becoming a father. I became a father myself 8 months ago. I'm a little late to the fatherhood party, but, eh. I can understand being tight on cash, so do what you gotta do.

The other option you have is just getting a good used factory y-pipe from a salvage yard to use for the time being, and go aftermarket when your money situation is more allowing. That route will probably run you like $20-30 or something stupid cheap like that.

I can't say this with complete surety, but I believe that any factory y-pipe from a 95-01 will bolt up the same to your 2000.

the salvage yard would be great if i didnt live in VT, we have like 3 salvage yards, none of which has a Cali spec Maxima Y's. I coulda got one from MA but it was like $68 after shipping.

I just got off the phone with Dallas from Warpspeed, seems like a helpful honest guy. Said he could have it out by monday. If by monday i cant work out a deal for the Cattman i think im going warpspeed.
