In that case, since it's not a daily driver and it's purpose is that it's a car built for show, it makes perfect sense.

The only time I or my friends/family ever towed a car to a track is because it wasn't street legal and didn't have a license plate. And if you need someone to push you to the line (which isn't allowed, at least not here) because you can't handle the clutch, then you should get an automatic. I've yet to encounter a clutch that I couldn't handle.

Hustle - you asked about exhaust vids yesterday?

Exhaust vids up! First ever youtube uploads

First vid is completely STOCK exhaust. Second vid is with new muffler and tip.

Sorry for the quality (or lack thereof) of the videos, I think that I could have gotten better had I taken them out in the open air, not with the car halfway in the garage...I think that may have messed with the sound a little. Regardless, you should be able to hear the difference between the two setups.

I tried to do similar tests...idle, rev to 2500 and hold, idle, rev up to 4k and back to idle a few times...

Assumed what cars were daily's? This entire conversation was about the car in the middle of the parking lot, remember? Idk what else you are referring to, since I said in a previous post, if you remember, that I don't have a problem with slammed/dropped/lowered cars.

The entire point I was making is that you have to draw the line somewhere if you do want to use it as a daily driver. If it's a show car, and you can drive it to where you're going to show it off at without getting it high-centered pulling into a gas station, then that's an accomplishment all by itself that should have it's own trophy class.

That one but lookin more at it, only reason i didn't like it too much is because of the rear tuck. Not saying its not nice, I just don't like that type of tuck on that specific car. not bad at all though. And its probably on bags so props to that. Nice stance, but It's just not my thing. If that makes any sense. Lol.

Down here, you are allowed to push the car to the line, and there are plenty of cars that go to the our local strip with registered cars running 10s that have to be pushed to the line for various reasons. Auto and manual alike.

But in the case of most of these slammed vehicles, they are not daily drivers, rather show cars. And a lot of these shows happen to take place in private parking lots. The "towers car show" down here in ft Lauderdale for example takes place in a parking lot but is sponsored and recognized by the county. All cars are welcome from the flush guys, to classic muscle, to pro track cars.

I've seen cars pushed as far as the waterbox, but that was it. In my 20+ years of drag racing i've never seen a car pushed to the actual starting line.

That makes no sense. The other cars you posted were irrelevant to the conversation we were having.

No...

The conversation that we had was about one car, not the other's that you posted afterwards.

THe only problem I have with it is that they are 100% form and 0% function. YOu cant drive that thing anywhere and suspension geometry is shot to hell. I think some look nice but its just not for me. Couldnt imagine not being able to drive on a flat road without scraping lol
