Man your posts and lingo of late have been impossible to read, I've literally stopped reading them because of this.

But as for that car, I can honestly say there isn't one thing I don't like in that picutre, not one. And that's strange for me.

If you don't mind big crowds/traffic, long waits at the bathroom & baking in the sun it can be a lot of fun/action. I went to Loudon NH. so it's a 'Yankee' crowd, might be a little different further south. Truth be told once was enough for me. I prefer to watch NASCAR on TV. Not to mention, Modifieds are much more popular up north & IMHO more exciting than NASCAR sedans. Modifieds raise the performance bar way higher. In fact they're handicapped, when both classes race at an event. So they don't embarrass the 'cup cars'.

Confusing me with Rochester?

I like low as long as within reason, done properly, and still driving good with decent allignment.

That just doesn't happen often enough, people just slam cars and that's it, they don't think, plan or set it up nicely, they just do it.

Talk about some morning eye candy!! I'll take the 850 please... In fact, there is a 6-spd 850 for sale here locally right now. It says 850i, but I don't believe they made a 6-spd 850i. It would have to be an 850Ci and it's definitely not the CSi because the engine bay pic doesn't show the M-V12. I still want it though...

Weird to see phatboi post a Pantera. I wonder if he knows what that is?

Even weirder to see it followed up with a VW Beetle. I got whiplash now.

Probably doesnt. Pantera is one of my favorite 70s super cars.

Did you see the concept pics for the new one?

IIRC it was suppose to be based off the Ford GT.

I wasn't aware they were trying to reinvent the Pantera. Very nice pics.

When I was younger, my friends and I would dream about the Pantera more so than other supercars, because it has the 351 Cleveland. There was something awesome about a Supercar with an American engine in it.

Actually saw one briefly go WOT (downhill, LOL) near my old neighborhood once in the early 80's. Such a heart-stopping sound. I can still feel that moment today.

Now that I think about it, the car shares a lot of the emotional appeal of the GT40.

well the pantera is still having all kinds of motors swapped in it, i wont be surprised to hear one has a 2JZ in it. But those american motors can actually make those cars reliable.

Just woke up after being up into the wee hours of the morning after seeing the Batman premiere at midnight and I can't believe what I'm seeing about what happened in Colorado. I just don't understand what drives people to such sick and disgusting acts of violence.

About the movie though, WOW. It was incredible. Definitely one of those hard PG-13 movies, but man was it good.

*listens to the crickets chirping*

Power was out for an hour and a half at work today...that was fun. Not. Finally got things up and running but the IT dept chick is running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get everything normal again...still no email or internet functionality...we just a few minutes ago got the internal intranet working again...

Days like this are why I'm glad my computer science degree isn't in IT.

I hear ya. I'm a decent "people person", but not over the phone. I get nervous sometimes, and it's really hard trying to tell some idiot that the reason his system isn't working is due to the communication settings being incorrect for the type of PLC he has, and due to that, I can't duplicate his failure here.

I enjoy talking to the end users of our products sometimes, but the distributors act like stuck-up snobs at times as well.

A little late. But... speaking of Panteras

This was parked around the corner from our yearly MR2 meet in Old Town near Orlando. Kind of made our lot look not that special anymore.

basically, industrial touch-screen remote controls. Our products are the interface between the equipment and the operator. Our units do everything from monitoring Juvenile correction facilities to municipal water systems and power grids, depending on the program inside the unit. The hardware of all our units are basically the same, but the ability to create the custom program for the user's specific application is always different. Pretty sweet, actually
