I think you will have to pick either 255/275 sir.
you might be right, to be honest i havent looked at tires just yet, i know 275s will require a fender roll in the rear though

edit, found another i like, need to get a price, look like the TR motorsports i had on the max

Those would look good on the subbie. Still don't jump out at me though.

If yo'ure running to compete in autox/track 265 is usually the threshold for certain classes. Just something to keep in mind. 275 might put you up in class also.

Either way, I can't personally imagine you need more than 255's on that car. 275 is pretty darned wide. That's RWD size (I know, I has em )

Never used orange 5050's. Mainly because when I was looking no one made them. Only yellow.

I did put some orange 3mm's in my buddies 5th gen that looked decent:

OAN found these, forgot about this 4th gen I did, that looked sick too, not orange though.

265/35-19's are a common size. Late model Porsche sports cars use those for rear tires. Boxster and Caymans... I believe the Carrera's were available in 285, 295, and 305 depending on model.

I'd probably go with a 255/40-18 then. Many high performance tires available in that size.

Not perfect...but better than the first attempt. Will re-do the first one like this, with the spray paint and chapstick.

Yes, chapstick actually worked great on the raised lettering in the bar area...a light coat and clear the overage...spray right over it, wipe off when dry.

Thanks for the suggestions, just got back on the computer so I'll check them out. Everyone there is going to be between the ages of 17 and 22 and I want to throw some cool lesser known tracks into the mix instead of having a barrage of the usual pop radio crap.

Never claimed I was Italian. Do you get your Guidos and Krauts confused often?

I'm German and English, with a little irish mixed in for flavor. And it's the preggers wife that likes that sponge pizza.

Gonna re-do the engine cover one more time with what I leaned from this most recent attempt...gonna run the above one for the meet on Sunday, since it's much better than the first, and clean the first attempt off the spare and paint that one. Layer of silver, then mask (btw the Chapstick works GREAT! Shoulda used it around the big letters instead of just on top of the small ones), then BT4, then clearcoat.

Thanks...I agree it looks a ton better.

Will use the masking techniques I learned (Chapstick, no ****...wipes right off when paint is dry) to mask a lot more next time.

srry bro, but no they aren't. Just cause they're spec'd ona production car doesn't make them common. especially on those types of cars which are low production vehicles, and vehicles who's owners rarely even ask the price when replacing parts, etc.

IJS.

And because I checked all this when looking for my 19"s
