HAHAHA yeah I found that out when I reassembled the slider backwards, it slid but it didn't make the "notches" sound that it normally does, but I took no notice until I slid the thing and BAM blew out the LED. Was the only one though and I reinstalled the slider assembly properly.

Did you make them to long, so when you pushed in it bent the leads, making boom?

 

the slider catches fire when moved all the way to cold due to a little tab inside it also prevents the a/c from working

 

lol needless to say you wont be doing many lighting mods when u get ur car back lol

 

nope did you ever take the whole slider apart there is 2 contacts that are loose in there and get moved when you insert the led wrong its a friggin timebomb
