Nissan buying back Maxima's

Just got a survey from Nissan consumer affairs.
They are asking that I fill out a 7 page form on the fit/finish,
vehicle performance,integrity,paint, etc.

They say they will be buying back a limited number of Maxima's,
based on the questionnaire results.
If something I say fits what they are looking for, they will contact me to bring in my car, where they will keep it for one to three days, while a Nissan engineer goes over the whole thing.

They offer a free loaner car, full tank of gas, "professional car wash", and $100.
(this is starting to sound like a timeshare ad)

If for some reason they like my car, They offer Kelley Blue Book Retail price , and a discount on an in stock Nissan.
They say I can take the cash if I chose not to purchase a new Nissan.

Am I the only .Org member to get this?

Am I special?

Sounds dangerously close to Nissan researching a potential recall.

Now, why doesn't this ever happen to me? I guess I'm just not special...

Good deal for you, if they want your car...

Hope it works out for you.

Has anyone else ever heard of Nissan or any other car maker doing this in the past? I have never heard of this before.

You guys suck!

Now you've got me dreaming! 02 Max 6spd, 02 Altima 5spd loaded, SE-R spec-V and lower payments, A4 1.8T 5spd, ... Unfortunately, I'm not that lucky. I'm stuck with my polka-dot slowmatic.
