Installing HID Xenon fogs
I don't really have a good understanding of how to install the 3000K XENON HID h3 fogs.
Some question
1) for wiring is it?
(Red/red Blue/black) or
(Red/blue Red/black.)
2) where am I putting the 2 metal endings? Coming off each ballast

In this link you will see that, no, they are not exactly plug n play but nothing too difficult.

Sounds like it.
OP get a quality harness. I put a harness together using No-name relays. 6 months later I went out side in the morning and found one fog light on. Looks like one of my crappy relays took a crap. Trust me you should not need to put HIDs especially in 3K into the fogs. Those 3K's you have look green to me when they light up. They produce too much glare due to the fluted lenses to do any amount of good lighting. If its foggy or raining and you turn them on all your going to do is blind yourself. I am yanking mine out and going with a set of 2700k halogens. Unless you do a retro and put some mini H1 projectors into them I would leave them alone.
See the color?
They have been on for 10 minutes already so they where already "warmed" up.

And new Fog light blazers that I think I am going to order right now since I have never seen these before!

I think I am going to go with a new pair of fog lights... Just re-do everything involving my fogs. If you guys say these are bad bulbs then what should I get that will give me a nice yellow color that is behind LaminX tint?. also what fog(the whole thing) replacement is the best for OEM.

is there a problem with the procedure in the above link, I did it this way and it obviously worked, but worked and 'right' aren't always the same. I have installed aftermarket HID without a relay harness many of time with no problem(I guess what I am saying is that you don't always need a relay harness). In this case is it a must?

I've see that thread and I have searched and researched to infinity and beyond on this situation. I have Yellow lamin-X tint already. And I was going to add on the Lexus capsules, but they are no where to be found for purchase. so I got these poopy bulbs and am now out $40 looking for a nice nice setup that someone has.

Xentec is terrible. My mother has their kits in her headlights and fogs. They flicker and one fog went out but I haven't bothered with it. She just had a headlight go out the other day so I replaced it with some old spare I had here. Her replacement passenger side has made the light output brighter and whiter with no flicker while her driver side is dimmer and bluer with flicker.
The bulbs look like the proper short ones so they're useful with good ballasts.

The bulbs are fine. It's the ballasts that are crap, trust me.

I'm not a big fan of yellow fogs (not factoring visibility), but the best output I've seen from a "simple" setup was 5k hids behind Lexus yellow capsules with the shield removed. Ton of light on the road and a deep golden yellow color. If you want to get a little more fancy, projectors are your best bet.

As said before, check with salvage yards. Start on www.car-part.com and get some salvaged Lexus LS300 fog lamps with the yellow capsules. Done.
