radiator leak

Does this warrant a replacement?

It's just barely leaking. Haven't seen anything on the driveway.

Could it just be a bad seal up top?

Considering you have an '01 and are running the original radiator, it is probably in your best interest to go ahead and replace it. Not more than a 2 hour job and that is taking you time. While you are at it, replace the upper/lower rad hoses, trans hoses and thermostat as well.

Courtesy Nissan has it for $400. Is that about the lowest I'm going to find? Anything else I could use?

Search the group deal section for the importrp Koyo radiator deal. It's about $100 shipped. They're great replacements.

Are there supposed to be caps on the top posts, or do they just sit like that?

Just pick up a new radiator from the group deal section and drop it in. Peace of mind.
