Auto transmission DIY

I searched for a DIY detailing the steps needed to drop and replace a 5.5 gen auto trans but i couldn't find anything. Any specific details i should know?

Disconnect all the wiring harnesses, open the peep window plate thing and remove the 4 tq bolts. Remove battery, starter, axles, tranny cooler lines, gear shifter cable etc, (I removed crossmember), support engine with jack, support tranny with jack, remove tranny mount bolt, remove bolts holding tranny and engine together.

Drop out transmission? Thats like a super short run down. I probably forgot a few things.

just get a service manual for your model and year over at nico club and it will show you in detail with pictures and specific instructions on how to do repairs and replacements on your car.

I think the OP meant the whole transmission, not just the fluid...
