The non-projector ebay angel eyes are modeled after your oem 5.5 lights. I've got a set of the non-projector ebay lights but to me it's far inferior to your stock lights in every way.

I think you'll be happy with getting a good set of rings and blacking the housing out. The pics cjandura posted above are king lol

Your OEM as is, no angel eyes, maybe black satin housing and a touch of matte silver somewhere but that's it.

Coincidentally, the OP is driving an early 2000's sedan.

I think angle eyes are one of those visual mods that make a good first impression, but after giving it due consideration ends up looking tacky. Just like LED running lights. The 5.5 gen is not a BMW, nor is it an Audi. It's a 10 year old Nissan. I wouldn't do it to my old car, but then I don't like mods that don't look OEM.

So... that said, given the two options: mod your OEM headlights. They're better quality than aftermarket, anyway.

Perhaps, I've always hated that look on the 5.5 though. I know a member here tried it some years back, guess it suited him lol.

The eBay projectors aren't too bad if you install HIDs.
